"POWELL:
The children of Martha and Jerry Powell would like to announce their parents' 50th wedding anniversary.
Gerald Powell and Martha Goff were married on June 12, 1960, at the First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. They lived in Manhattan during the first years of their marriage, and have resided in Riley for the past 39 years.
Their children are Vaughn Powell and wife Kerrie; Jeff Powell and partner Randy Erickson; and Bryan Powell and wife Diana. Their grandchildren are Becky Powell; Kristina Powell; Tony Epperson and wife Grace; Brandy Epperson and partner Karay; and BJ Wheeler.
Their great-grandchildren are Ashley Epperson, AJ Epperson, Gabe Siebold and Brooklynn Siebold.
They will celebrate the occasion on June 19 with a family dinner at noon and an afternoon reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at their home, 515 W. Rock Island Ave., Riley, KS 66531. They request the honor of your presence at the reception, but request no gofts. Cards and well wishes may be sent to them at their home address.
