Message from Dee … April 25
Wish I could be there…that's my b-day! [April Out to Lunch Bunch Occasion] Hello to all. maybe I'll surprise you one day and show up. No family left in Manhattan but in-laws in Salina so I come home every now and then.
I retired in June. Love being with my 19 month old grandson, my only one, and performing. I stay busy singing jazz. I'm a solo performer but also sing in a trio called "Ala Carte" and an Arican-American ACAPPELLA sextet called "Sankofa". We just received a grant to do a CD. Hopefully we will start on it this summer. Don't know why I'm telling you all this, guess I just want to stay connected to home.

Send us pictures and information about your upcoming CD. Nan Heintzelman Wells keeps the website updated and your singing career and the groups you are in is the type of information she would want to post.
We would love to have a copy of one of your CD's
When you come to Salina let us know and we will get a group together for lunch. We usually have a good group at lunch and it is a good way to pass on information. We always share any correspondence we receive.
Enjoy your grandson, some of us have grown grandkids, time goes by so fast
