David and Joan return from summer trip to Norway
My wife and I traveled to Norway this summer to see our daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters. While there I decided to take the challenge to climb to the top of Pulpit Rock with my daughter and son-in-law. According to my daughter there are few people trying to climb it at my age! It took three hours up and three hours back. Here are a couple of pictures to prove I was there. The first is my daughter and son-in-law climbing, the second attachment shows climbing around the edge getting to the top, and the third is me looking over the edge. The water is about 2000 feet STRAIGHT down.! I could feel this adventure for several days! My daughter says she will never do it again.
