She was survived by her Husband, Wesley Houser and
Son, Stephen and Daughter, Debra
Personal Tribute
Submitted by her daughter Debra Houser Ruda: ” After hgh school, Sandra Baehr attended Kansas State University, where she met her husband Wesley Houser. Upon graduation, she put her Elem. Duc. degree to use teaching in the Kansas City area. She and Wes had two children, Stephen and Debra. During their childhood, she continued teaching, as a substitute. Sandra was active in her church as well as local organizations. She was on the library board and was a Girl Scout leader in Columbus, KS. Later in life, she served on the Board of Directors for the Ozark Area Girl Scout Council. Shortly after her death, in May 1994, a memorial addition to the Columbus Girl Scout House was dedicated in her honor.”
“Though no longer with us, Sandra lives on in her children and grandchildren, as well as the hearts of those who loved her.”
